Diehard 007 fan blows £200k on trashed stunt car
A foolish wealthy James Bond fan has reportedly shelled out £200,000 for an Aston Martin DBS that doesn’t work. There is a good reason why he paid so much - it’s the infamous model that was written off during filming of the latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.
The trashed Aston is one of six DBS models that were used to make the movie. It met its watery fate when an Aston engineer lost control on a slippery bend and ploughed through a barrier into Lake Garda in Italy.

“I think Land Rover and myself have many of the same qualities,” Sharapova says. “We are both adventurous, we both like to perform at the highest level, and some people think we both look good.”
“I have learned that these vehicles are the real deal. I have been on several off-road courses, and you can really see the technology and how the cars are really built for off-road use,” she says.

“I think that the Peugeot 207 is a good match for me, because I’m a careful driver, and it’s a very safe car,” she says of the car donated by her sponsor Verano, distributor of Peugeot in Serbia. “It’s practical but stylish too, so it was the perfect first car for me.”

“I have done most of my driving in the U.S.,” Jankovic says. “The roads are wider, and it’s easier to drive around than in Europe.”
“I would like another sports car but also possibly an SUV, for example the Lincoln Navigator, so I can drive my family and friends around,” she says. “The first car I owned was a black Chevrolet. I can’t even remember the model.”
